 The big new  illuminated  road sign by Ayr race course  shows  the direction  to follow .

....Being the first Saturday of the month .......the   long established   yet innovative AFM  cooperative  farmers' market is being  held in the Kyle Centre car park courtyard    postcode  KA71QT.. 09.00-13.00 Saturday 2nd March ...Produce from  20 local producers expected .Come and  support  the local  fresh  quality  food provision....The provenance  is clear ,the tastes good  and the  stalls manned  by knowledgeable  enthusiastic producers  or their representatives .   With excellent  hot food to go  from Dalduff   ,you will be welcomed  warmly ..HTCU there

Valentines themed indoor farmers market at Burns Birthplace Museum,Alloway

 Fall in love with local  food  in the comfort of BBPM  in Alloway  on Sunday 17th  February  11.00-15.00..

Choose from  an interesting flavoursome selection  including  sourdough breads,rolls,award winning free range eggs,Ayrshire rapeseed oil,vegetarian and gluten free savouries ,cakes ,cow and goats cheeses, non homogenised milk, hand made chocolates preserves and chutneys , balsamic  dressings,  waxed cheeses, fruit and savoury spreads,chilli pickles,cookie mixes , delicious speciality and cup cakes.

 Held in the attractive spacious  sunny Robertson room  you will be most welcome..

Saturday  16th  sees the reopening of # Kilmarnock #farmers' market  for the 2013 season.

...Situated at the Cross timing 09.00 -13.00

  There is scheduled to be   a very wide variety of  locally sourced food  including  lamb, beef, pork ,veal ,venison, bacon, steak pies,black pudding, frozen chicken,soups ,chutneys,hand made chocolates, preserves, Ayrshire honey,.free range hen and duck eggs, gluten  free savouries and cakes, vegetarian food , home baking jams and marmalades ,cow and goats cheeses,non homogenised milk ,Ayrshire rapeed oil ,hand made confections,cloutie dumplings , waxed and flavoured cheeses, farmhouse ice creams and sorbets, very fresh "dirty " root vegetables!! and cabbages etc , plus organic shampoos and soaps.

Next month we are expecting the  re- arrival of the  local micro brewery, plants , plus the return of Fair trade in  April

The stallholders are members of the  Ayrshire farmers market  cooperative  and/or  the Ayrshire food network ,or established  accredited SAFM  guest producers.
